Mission Condor

The name of the CubeSat mission is CONDOR (Characteri sation Of Near-Earth Debris for Orbital Reliability). The name comes from the mission’s aim of identifying space debris and enabling future active removal missions or improving space safety to protect and avoid collisions. Thus, just like condors’ vision acuity and enhanced detection capabilities, CONDOR is equipped with advanced sensors and software to detect and characterise space debris.
